Automation Engineer
Job description
Our company is growing and offering solutions to more clients within the existing verticals as well as the new verticals, we are expanding our team to expedite engineering and the new product developments. So, we are looking for an automation engineer who will be in charge of PLC programming, designing control panels, and implementing industrial and commercial electrical systems. In this role, you will be working closely with the rest of the engineering team in terms of processes, and hardware design of the control panels and report to the production manager.
Key responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
• Designing, planning, preparation, and procurement of control panels parts and related items
• Installation, testing, and commissioning of control panels, power transmission and distribution systems of industrial utilities in water and waste water treatment field
• Design, integration, and commissioning of instrumentation; i.e. PLC/SCADA, Ultrasonic level sensors, Flowmeters, Pressure switches, pH, D.O., MLSS sensors & HMI.
• Planning, organizing, troubleshooting issues, and managing project electrical construction activities in close coordination with engineers, supervisors, manufacturers, contractors/sub-contractors, and all inter-disciplines.
• Project management and building a strong relationship with the team, clients, fabricators, and manufacturers
• Preparation of risk assessment, HSE for each project• Reporting to project manager
Required experience
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited school.
• Experience in PLC Programming and Troubleshooting• Experience in Control panel wiring & design.
• Knowledge in computer systems (Domain/SQL/Visual Studio) &networking.
• Knowledge in Remote data logging and Monitoring.
• Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
• Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.
• Plus point: Licensed as a professional engineer.
• Strong team player with effective interpersonal & leadership skills
• A team player and at the same time able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
